Montech XR, weiß, Glasfenster

While the Montech XR may look a lot like the Sky Two at first sight, they are priced very differently. At $63.90, the Montech XR is nearly 50% cheaper than the $99 Sky Two. While Montech is known for its focus on affordability, the Montech XR manages to push things even further but still offer tons of value and functionality. This makes it quite the steal. There are other brands out there that use the same body, but don't manage to offer all the details the XR does even at slightly higher MSRPs. Even with its low price point, the XR manages to deliver a very solid build quality and the features feel cohesive as well. Even with the glass panels removed, there is little flex in the metal body. It offers all the usual fixings typically only found in enclosures that cost more. This includes the USB-C port, reverse bladed intake fans in the front, flat-band USB cables and a unified front panel connector. Those components come together to provide a quality build experience. And even though the process focuses on simple but functional implementations, Montech doesn't really cut any corners, including both grommets and Velcro strips so that the result of your build can easily be an organized one. The biggest annoyances would be the magnetic dust filter on the underside, which has a tendency to fall off when the case is handled, or the thumb screws holding the HDD cage in place. But, all of these are far from dealbreakers and the fact that we are nit-picking—and could continue regarding some cosmetic choices like the blue USB-A ports—is testament to how well-rounded the chassis really is. While the AIO does end up keeping you from the top edge of the motherboard connectors, that is to be expected from a slim and compact chassis, but overall, it is more important that the XR can easily hold a 360 mm unit and still allow for tall memory. If you are on a budget but are looking for a well-rounded case with two glass panels, the Montech XR should be somewhere at the top of your list. Even if you have a bit of flexibility in how much your system could cost, the XR is still a great choice to free up budget to put towards functional components without the case feeling out-of-place with those higher-end parts - that is just how nice the case is overall.
