XFX Speedster QICK 309 Radeon RX 7600 XT, 16GB GDDR6, HDMI, 3x DP

With all of our testing out of the way and having taken a closer look at XFX’s new Qick319 RX 7600 XT Black we can now step back and put it all together. For styling the Qick319 RX 7600 XT Black has gone the same direction that all of XFX’s cards for the last few generations have had. It has a simple relatively flat design with just the golf ball like dimples breaking that up and it is nearly completely blacked out with no lighting and a minimal amount of branding. The styling isn’t going to be for everyone, but one thing is for sure is it isn’t going to be too flashy or overdone. That said the card is surprisingly large, XFX did utilize the space completely packing in a large cooler but I was surprised it was larger than the Founders Edition RTX 4070 SUPER I just took a look at last week. One thing I mentioned earlier and I wouldn’t call it a con at all, but I would love to see an all white version of some of these XFX cards. The blacked out look is great, but doing the same with white would be cool.

Generally, when I look at GPUs, there’s a silver lining to it all, but I’m really struggling on this one, but that’s been the case on the last few launches from both AMD and NVIDIA, and I think it shows just how out of touch they are with consumers, which is a shame, as AMD has always been quite community driven and focussed on offering great value for money, which is the case on the desktop CPU division, but GPUs have just fallen by the wayside and that’s an opportunity for someone to scoop up, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Intel come in even stronger when their new products release. There’s a market available to them, and I honestly feel like AMD and NVIDIA have tried, and to a degree, they’ve both failed, so why not give the essentially, new guy a chance? It’s a shame, and while AMD can have the bragging rights to a degree, with Intel to one side, of having the cheapest 16GB GPU out right now, that’s where it starts and ends. The A770 is the cheaper 16GB card, but they just don’t have the same momentum that Team Green and Team Red have, and that’s why I’m cautious about saying that it’s comparable.

XFX Radeon RX 7600 XT QICK 309 is a premium custom-design graphics card based on the new mid-range GPU from AMD. The new RX 7600 XT is designed by AMD to compete with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060, while attempting to upstage it with its larger 16 GB of memory that it wants content creators and generative AI enthusiasts to take advantage of. The XFX QICK 309 tops this up with a premium-looking board design that looks like it's from a segment above; and is designed for low fan noise. Although designed for 1080p, these cards should be capable of 1440p with medium-high settings, or by taking advantage of FSR, Fluid Motion Frames (which works on any DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 game), the newer FSR 3 Frame Generation, or the all-encompassing HyperRX performance enhancement you can find in the Radeon Software application.
