While we couldn’t test real-time ray-tracing just yet in any meaningful way, Turing delivered on every other promise Nvidia made, AND with immature pre-launch drivers that will only get better with time.

For being the fastest available consumer graphics card, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti receives the PC Perspective Gold Award. Hands down Turing is blazing fast with the hardware to give the end user a stellar visual experience be it on a 4K HDR screen or via the next generation of VR headsets. It pricey but what isn't at the high end these days? That brings to mind a question from an old drag racer. Question: How fast do you want to go? Answer: How much money have you got? You have to pay to play as the old adage goes. If you play games at 1920 x 1080 you will be better suited waiting for the cards down the product stack but if you play at 4K the RTX 2080 Ti FE and RTX 2080 FE are the perfect cards for you.

Overall the 2080 Ti has the potential of being something incredible, I am not joking about that. But we do need more time and software for us to give a solid recommendation on that. Typically products like these end up with a top pick or best hardware award, at this time we're giving it a recommended award mainly due to the limited testing, as well as its very high price level. But man, what a beast, and what a nice looking founders card this round as well.
