Heute lüfte ich endlich das Geheimnis der GeForce RTX 4080 12GB GeForce RTX 4070 Ti in Form der Boardpartner-Karte MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X 12GB, also die bisher kleinste Ada-Karte. Zum Einsatz kommt der Fast-Vollausbau des AD104, während die größere RTX 4080 auf dem deutlich stärker beschnittenen AD103 und die RTX 4090 auf dem etwas reduzierten AD102 basieren. Neuer Chip, neues Glück? Lassen wir uns einmal überraschen, denn es gibt diesmal auch keine Founders Edition als Testmuster, sondern ausschließlich Boardpartner-Karten. Unsere folgt aber der Standard-TBP, so dass man das durchaus gleichsetzen kann.

If there is one thing that has become clear from our time with a number of different models of the new Ada Lovelace GPU equipped cards, it is how incredibly consistent their performance is. Admittedly we've not reviewed a base model card, but instead the higher end of the available ranges, but you couldn't squeeze a christmas card in the gap between the four different RTX 4070 Tis in our graphs. What that means for the end user is that you can stick to a brand you're loyal to, or buy whichever is the most affordable, without fear that your experience will be compromised in any way.

Today, we have the chance to take a detailed look at the brand-new MSI RTX 4070 Ti Suprim X 12GB graphics card. Based on the AD104 chip, you still get everything the Ada Lovelace architecture brings except for the flagship-class price. Starting well under $1,000, the price point is much lower than the 4080 and 4090 while still offering incredible performance (beating out the 3090 Ti in most tests). 4th-gen Tensor cores and Optical Glow help its impressive performance, 3rd-gen Ray Tracing cores, DLSS 3, 8th-gen AV1 encoders, and everything the new Ada Lovelace architecture offers.

MSI nails it once again, filling out its Ada Lovelace cards with the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X. A total joy from start to finish, with a sleek design and only 200W of power... take that, RDNA 3.

MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Suprim X is the company's top-tier custom-design graphics card based on NVIDIA's latest salvo at the sub-$1000 performance graphics segment, with the new RTX 4070 Ti "Ada" that we're reviewing today. The Suprim X brand of graphics cards from MSI arose from a need within the company to match NVIDIA Founders Edition in aesthetics, while offering the best factory-overclock and OC headroom available in the market; while also differentiating itself from the company's Gaming X brand (something Gaming Z probably had less success doing). The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is an interesting proposition, letting you play maxed out gaming at 1440p, or 4K Ultra HD gaming with reasonably good details, where you can take advantage of new features introduced with the RTX 40-series, such as DLSS 3 frame-generation, to dial up eye-candy even further.

We turn towards MSI who submitted the mighty SuprimX edition of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. It;s has incredibly sweet and silent cooling, looks fantastic and is a notch factory tweaked to run faster also.

In addition to the Asus card that Nvidia sent over for the RTX 4070 Ti launch, MSI also sent over their flagship RTX 4070 Ti Suprim X. Their Suprim lineup always goes way over the top on cooling performance and the X means that this is also an overclocked card. So today I’m going to check out the MSI RTX 4070 Ti Suprim X to see if MSI is still keeping the Suprim styling as a clean opulent model which focuses on better build quality and performance. Without a Founders Edition for the new RTX 4070 Ti that leaves a big opening for anyone like me who may not want the crazy “gamer” styling that most cards have and the styling and build quality that the Founders Editon cards have. Will this be the best option when shopping for an RTX 4070 Ti? I’m going to check out what sets it apart and then put it through our test suite to find out!
