The FlexiSpot C7B-Mesh does deliver quite the bang for the buck, but there are some features we find lacking. For those grabbing one, we would advise springing for the optional footrest.

I’ve been using the C7 over the past few weeks and it has served me well through long work days and nightly gaming sessions. There are many people that will say that all of these type of chairs are the same, and when it comes to the gaming chairs they are mostly right. But these ergonomic chairs are completely different. They are really made to keep you comfortable all day and support your body, not just look cool like the gaming chairs. One of my favorite features of this chair is the self-adaptive lumbar support. When you have this feature enabled the lumbar support will move with your body, so no matter what you are getting the support that you need. If this is not your thing you can of course lock in that lumbar support as well. Talking about adjustments with the chair there are plenty and using the controls they are easy to change. The C7 did take a little bit of time to get used to as my body was not used to this type of chair with its pronounced lumbar support. After a couple of days I was in love with the chair. I felt relaxed and I could really zone in on my daily activities. I didn’t have to adjust or move my body around after an hour or so like with other chairs. If there is anything I didn’t like about this chair is that the arm rests are a bit loose. These 4D arm rests can be angled in or out, but even if you are resting your arms on them they tend to move, which is a bit annoying. I genuinely did not expect to be a big fan of the FlexiSpot C7. The words "ergonomic" and "office chair" are not the most appealing combination, after all. However, not only does the chair look the part, but your bones and muscles will thank you, too. The FlexiSpot C7 is not without its negatives, of course. A sale price of $349 for the mesh version means this is not an inexpensive chair (depending on who you ask), and despite all the positives, paying a regular price that's almost twice this amount feels a tad too expensive. Consider that some people enjoy an oversized gaming chair that buries them in a plush foamy seat when they sit down. This is not that. Also, more of a warning than a negative, the C7 does require some initial adjustment to find the ideal position, and even then can take a while to get accustomed to, a process not everyone might be willing to complete. The biggest compliment I can give the FlexiSpot C7 is this: now that my review, which involved near-constant use, has concluded, it's time for me to revert to my beloved Titan Evo... but I'm truly conflicted about returning to my gaming chair or continue enjoying this ergonomic bliss.
