One thing should be extremely clear in regards to the Emotn N1 projector: it manages to undercut most other brands when it comes to 500+ ANSI lumen 1080p smart projectors. In fact, it manages to offer such a low cost of entry that one could really just ignore its technical shortcomings - after all the savings had to come from somewhere. As such, there is a definite target audience for the device that cannot and should not be ignored. Independently of the price, the unit manages to get positive marks for the native Netflix support and built-in Kickstand. On top of that having autofocus and auto-keystone (at least in theory) in this price bracket is extremely rare as well. But while this all sounds great on paper, it really needs to be highlighted that you get what you pay for in many ways. While the drawbacks of the Emotn N1 aren't dealbreakers, you need to prepare yourself for lower illumination than what is advertised along with an unfamiliar UI, audio that doesn't blow ones socks off and a few other functional hiccups. This brings everything back to price. If you are looking for a projector that just works but don't want to spend $600 or more on a unit with the same resolution, the Emotn N1 may just offer you enough so you still feel like it is worth the far smaller investment. In other words, if you have the cash for a unit that goes for twice that of the Emotn N1, you may want to go and look at the various possibilities of that much higher price bracket, but otherwise you now have an option at a really low cost of entry that feels much, much better than alternative options you can get for the money.
