EK Water Blocks EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB White, weiß

Die letzte AiO-Wasserkühlung, die wir hier von EK getestet haben, stammt aus der „Basic“-Serie und kam gänzlich ohne Beleuchtung. Ganz ohne RGB geht es dann aber wohl doch nicht, denn mit der neuen „Nucleus“-Reihe rückt RGB wieder mehr in den Vordergrund. EK baut sein Engagement im AiO-Bereich weiter aus. Bei der EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB setzt man vor allem in zwei Bereichen Schwerpunkte: Der Optik und der Performance. Äußerlich wird die AiO-Kühlung in erster Linie von der harmonischen A-RGB-Beleuchtung der Lüfter und des Pumpendeckels geprägt. Dazu profitiert die AiO-Kühlung optisch auch durch die Verkabelung. Ein spezieller Kombi-Anschluss an den Lüftern reduziert in Kombination mit dem mitgelieferten Adapterkabel die Kabelanzahl deutlich. Allerdings ist dieses Adapterkabel zum Betrieb der Lüfter auch unbedingt notwendig.

When I reviewed the EK Nucleus CR240 Lux D-RGB I had high expectations from it, if anything because EK Water Blocks was behind it. Well, in the end it delivered everything I hoped it would and even though almost 18 months later EK has yet to deliver the highly anticipated Nucleus Vision AIO line (primarily due to supply chain shortages – mainly in relation to the LCD screen, not the only ones facing this exact issue lately) the Nucleus CR360 Lux D-RGB should be more than enough for even the most demanding consumer CPUs. Noise levels as expected are just a tad higher compared to the CR240 (2 vs 3 fans) but still not something I would consider as a game breaker (not loud but not quite silent either). In terms of looks even though the white version of the Nucleus CR360 Lux D-RGB did give me a hard time when taking pictures of it on my white photo bench it would clearly make a great addition to any white setup.

The EK Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB (talk about a mouthful) is the subject of today's review. This latest offering from EK is part of their newest lineup of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers. It features a 360 mm radiator, daisy-chained fans for easier cable management, and is fully loaded with everyone's favorite feature – that's right, you guessed it, ARGB lighting. Of course, paying for something that’s well made is one thing, but that superior build quality clearly translates to superior performance. This is by far one of the best-performing coolers on the market right now. So you can keep your fancy LCD displays, because if you just want to keep your CPU as cool as possible, then this will more than get the job done. At stock and overclocked settings, it delivered some of the lowest idle and load temperatures we’ve seen. What’s more impressive is just how powerful these fans are, and sure, at full RPM you are going to hear them, but when they’re going the CPU load temperatures just plummet with impressive haste. You can absolutely afford to put them on their silent profile, given that it’s already one of the best-performing coolers, making the fans quieter at the cost of a little more heat still leaves its performance as some of the best around. EKWB has a strong reputation for enthusiast cooling hardware, namely with their custom-loop components. However, it’s clear they’ve infused some of that premium technology into their CPU block, pump, tubing design, the lovely adjustable fittings on the radiator, and their premium quality fans. Every component is as good as it can be on an AIO cooler. Sure, you can get a cooler that looks as good for half the price, and one that cools pretty good too. However, if you want one that coolers better than the rest, well… then EKWB has got you covered.

EK want a slice of the AIO watercooling market and apparently they are here to stake a claim. They say its good, really good. So Im here to try and find what ever reason I can to prove otherwise.
