Corsair Vanguard Air 99 Wireless, schwarz, LEDs RGB, Corsair OPX Low-Profile, USB/Bluetooth, DE

I can already predict some of the comments on this review. Corsair bloat, $260 is too expensive, and so on. While I can't disagree on the price, the former is not a valid argument anymore. This is the biggest takeaway I had with my testing of the Vanguard Air 99 Wireless, which admittedly I did know about even before thanks to trade shows and there being a non-wireless Vanguard Air 99 out earlier than this. Corsair has joined the web configurator train for peripherals, and this is great for everyone. There is no need to have dedicated software installed, and this will also address the complaints of people who find iCUE to be consuming a lot of resources or doing more than you wanted. The key word here is choice—you can choose to use iCUE with the Vanguard Air 99 Wireless, which will allow you to make the most of the keyboard. This will integrate the keyboard with the rest of a compatible ecosystem of software and hardware products, should you be invested in it, allow for more complex lighting layers and software profiles, Stream Deck app compatibility, and also display cool iCUE widgets on the integrated screen that go beyond the usual use of a display on a keyboard.
