Fakt ist, der Preis erscheint vergleichsweise hoch, aber das Gehäuse soll nicht darauf reduziert werden. In Summe bleibt es ein spannendes Produkt mit netten und coolen Ansätzen, ein paar Schwächen aber den größten Vorteil, nämlich seine High End Hardware in ein Mini-ITX-System zu verbauen. Dieser Punkt ist sehr gut umgesetzt worden und bietet sehr viele Möglichkeiten die zu gefallen wissen.

Das mit 15 l Volumen kompakte DAN Cases C4-SFX konnte im Test auch einen Mini-ITX-Gaming-PC der High-End-Klasse mit RTX 4090 kühlen und blieb dabei leise. Die Temperaturen von CPU, SSD, RAM und VRM lagen allerdings sehr hoch. Wie sieht es diesbezüglich im mit 25 l größeren Turm-Gehäuse Corsair 2000D AirFlow aus? Der Test.

Corsairs hat mit dem 2000D RGB Airflow ist ein neues Mini-ITX-Gehäuse, das dank seiner vertikalen Ausrichtung besonders platzsparend sein soll. Gleichzeitig verspricht Corsair aber auch ein leistungsstarkes Kühlsystem, das mit seinen drei vormontierten A-RGB-Lüftern zudem die Optik prägt.

Corsair is well known for their ATX enclosures as part of a diverse product line - many, if not most of which we have covered since they started into the product segment in 2009. However, it has been a very long time since we last reviewed an ITX enclosure of theirs. The Corsair 2000D Airflow doesn't aim to be the smallest chassis - even though Corsair markets it as an SFF case. Instead, it tries to provide support for high-end components while retaining a small footprint on your desk. This is achieved by making long components like AIOs or GPUs stand upright inside the Corsair 2000D Airflow up for review here. While other brands offer similar approaches, very few allow for 360 mm AIOs or manage such a focus on airflow.

Corsair's new 2000D ITX boasts a fresh design in terms of construction and design, while also being reminiscent of the original D series. This Mini-ITX form-factor case features easily accessible hinged side panels with tempered glass on the side. Three LL120 RGB fans and four LED strips are provided by default and integrated into the iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT HUB, which is tied to the iCUE software for controlling everything, including two thermal probe sensors. This chassis is aesthetically engaging, and the dark design (choice) of the tested model, along with its overall characteristics, will appeal to a wide range of people. It's a space-saving design ideal for small-form-factor builds, with abundant airflow thanks to removable mesh panels and premium build quality. The chassis has a Mini-ITX form factor with just 24.4 liters of volume, taking up minimal space on or under your desktop, with dimensions of 271mm x 200mm x 450mm. Negatives would be the fact that the IO panel is located at the bottom, that and ATX power supplies will not fit (which we feel is the biggest miss). The 2000D offers high-airflow removable panels with removable mesh front, side, and roof panels that provide plentiful ventilation from nearly all sides of your system for maximum cooling potential. It also offers triple-slot GPU support and can comfortably install a three-slot graphics card up to 365mm in length for a high-end, high-performance system that takes up minimal space. This cooling-optimized interior fits up to eight 120mm or two 140mm fans, along with multiple radiators including a 360mm on the side and 240mm in the back (dependent on GPU size). The chassis comes with three CORSAIR AF120 RGB SLIM fans and fully controlled and synchronized RGB lighting for up to six fans with the included iCUE Lighting Node CORE and CORSAIR iCUE software. The chassis also offers modern front panel I/O that puts your connections within easy reach, including a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a combination audio/microphone jack. It fits up to three SSDs for expansive storage capacity, and an included low-profile AC power cable and PWM splitter makes it easy to connect your power cable to your PSU and gain full PWM control with these included connectors.
