I really like the Antec DF700 FLUX, and while I must admit, it’s pretty much like every other case that hits the market these days, it’s the little details that manage to set it apart. In terms of the interior layout, it’s all where you would expect, and while I love the PSU shroud that’s built-in, stealth SSD mounts, and hidden HDD bay, these are not fairly common features.

Antec is clearly dedicated to the Flux setup as all of their focus products now include it and are clearly named as such. Thus, the DF700 Flux is no different. That said, Antec continues to tweak the Flux functionality with each release. This is most apparent when looking at how these fans are controlled. While the DF600 Flux was the first to offer this set of fans at that great $70 price point, we had critiqued the fact that the hub does not allow for any smarts and ran the fans at full tilt. With the DF700 Flux, which clocks in at a just ever so slightly higher $75, you do get a proper, fully fledged high-quality fan controller, so the experience you get from the Flux setup is quiet enough for you to actually enjoy that your affordable case came with a whooping five fans out of the box, even if the Flux setup is not going to make a huge dent in your system's temperatures.
